During the inauguration of the first World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, assured that this event should serve to stop Israel's hostilities against the Palestinians in Gaza.

“Stop the genocide in Palestine. Palestine deserves to live, it deserves its territory that belongs to it by history and tradition,” said Rodríguez.

He urged the more than 300 parliamentarians from 70 countries participating in the forum to speak up for this people who suffer one of the most atrocious crimes against humanity today, while condemning the position of the elites who turn a blind eye and complicit silence on this fascist action.

“Fascism is not a particular way of seeing the world, it's a disease,” he emphasized.
