Rosa Martínez won the bronze medal in the Americas Triathlon Cup 2025 in Cuba

Venezuelan athlete Rosa Martínez climbed to third place on the podium, in the elite category in the Americas Triathlon Cup 2025 in Havana, Cuba.

The criolla took third place after completing the 750 m swimming course with a time of 09:47, the 20 km of cycling in 32:13 and finishing the 5 km race with 17:35, for a total time of 1:00:49.

The first place went to the Mexican María López, while the second went to the Colombian María Velásquez.

For their part, the Venezuelan Yaniuzka Jiménez and Damelis Castillo with a time of 1:06:16 and 1:11:23 occupied the 9th and 13th positions respectively.

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan representatives in the men's division ranked: Cristopher Cárdenas in 11th place with a time of 55:21, Dixon Hernández in 14th with 56:01, Cristian Torrealba in 19th with 56:42 and Ramsés Montilla in 25th.
