In the framework of the International Forum on Transport and Logistics in St. Petersburg, the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin stated that his country has the technical and geographical capacity to guarantee safe trade routes in the face of current market instability.

The president stressed that the Eurasian country is ready to play a decisive role in shaping a new global logistics architecture, offering reliable alternatives to nations that seek to protect their economies from external geopolitical fluctuations.

This proposal emerges as a strategic response to the recent escalation of tensions between the United States (USA), Israel and the Islamic Republic of Iran, a conflict that has jeopardized the global supply of hydrocarbons.

The imminent paralysis in the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery through which 20% of the planet's oil and gas transits, has forced States and companies to prioritize the survival of their supply chains over cost reduction, making road safety the main currency of international trade.

Faced with this uncertain scenario, the head of state reaffirmed that Russian transit routes represent a comprehensive solution that combines economic efficiency, time savings and political neutrality.

President Putin emphasized that Russia not only offers infrastructure, but also a strategic outlet for those global actors that demand stability and sovereignty in their commercial operations, consolidating itself as a secure bridge in a context of logistical fragmentation and regional conflicts.
