The Kremlin is finalizing preparations for the May 9 celebrations in Red Square, commemorating the triumph of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany. The presidential advisor, Yuri Ushakov, confirmed that the capital of the Russian Federation will receive a delegation of world leaders, highlighting the presence of strategic allies from Asia, Africa and the Balkans, who will accompany Vladimir Putin in the box of honor.

Confirmed attendees include the President of Belarus, Alexandr Lukashenko; the Sultan of Malaysia, Ibrahim Iskandar; and the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico. They will be joined by high-level representatives from Laos and various regional republics, such as Abkhazia and Republika Srpska, consolidating a block of nations that maintain active diplomatic ties with the Russian Federation.

This year's event is being held under strict security measures, with a massive deployment in the city center to ensure the integrity of the leaders. Although the military parade is the central axis, the government has emphasized that the main objective is to honor historical memory and reinforce current coalitions in the face of growing tensions with Western organizations.

The day will conclude with the traditional presidential speech and a series of cultural events that seek to highlight the role of the Russian Federation on the contemporary global stage. The leaders present are expected to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of official events to discuss issues of energy cooperation, regional security and the strengthening of a multipolar international architecture.
