Russia values alliance with Venezuela to contribute to the reconfiguration of the new global geopolitics

This Thursday, during the Celebration of the XVIII Meeting of the Venezuela-Russia High-Level Intergovernmental Commission in the city of Caracas, Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Co-President of the High-Level Intergovernmental Commission, valued the alliances of both nations.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister for economic matters stressed that different companies have promoted the acquisition of Venezuelan cocoa and the result has been positive. He also highlighted the importance of boosting trade between Venezuela and Russia.
“Despite the difficulties caused by the sanctions imposed on Russian and Venezuelan airlines for traffic, CONVIASA represents a new milestone in relations,” he stressed
On the other hand, he praised tourism programs to Venezuela from Russia, in addition to the implementation of sporting and educational events.
In the oil field, the Russian spokesman emphasized the importance of wealth in Venezuela and growth in crude oil production, “ecological reserves exceed 100 million barrels, reflecting the importance of production”.
On the other hand, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke about advances in technical cooperation in the military field through which Venezuela will supply weapons for the country's security.
Chernyshenko arrived in Venezuela this Thursday and was received by Vice President Delcy Rodríguez on the opportunity to contribute to the reconfiguration of the new global geopolitics through the XVIII Meeting of the High-Level Intergovernmental Commission.
