The Russian Federation will send Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in November to the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where the world's leading economies will meet to hold the Group of 20 Summit.

According to information published by Telesur, the summit will be held from November 18 to 19, as announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“At the instruction of President Vladimir Putin, the Russian delegation to this event will be led by the Foreign Minister,” a presidential spokesman wrote on his Telegram channel.

The day will seek to prepare a “leadership document” of the G20 that takes into account the multipolar realities of today's world and that offers a depoliticized response to socio-economic challenges.

The document will aim to reform global institutions and reinforce the role of the global majority in decision-making.
