The president of the Commission for Constitutional Reform, Tarek William Saad, stressed that the proposal for the New Constitutional Reform presented by President Nicolás Maduro will cover three major fundamental axes for the country's development.
“These three fundamental axes mean deepening cultural democracy, deepening a modern economy that adapts to these times, deepening what the new society means, where fundamental values such as human rights, collective justice, and others enter,” said William Saab during a telephone contact broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).
He noted that as a preliminary work, 85 articles will be debated to be expanded to all sectors of the country.
“This work of the Commission will cover the entire country and it will have a positive historical impact because we are going to modernize 25 years after this constituent process and we are going to ask the People to give their opinion on that bill that in 90 days we must deliver to the Venezuelan nation,” he emphasized.
He stated that the Bolivarian Revolution has made a contribution to Latin America by establishing Popular Power and communes as pillars of participatory democracy.
He assured that the People welcome this new Constitutional Reform.
