The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Foreigners (SAIME) will extend the card renewal days until May 17, which are brought forward on Fridays and Saturdays without prior appointment.

According to a post by SAIME on its Instagram account, this measure is due to the large influx of users who have had these days dedicated to people over 18 years of age.

Likewise, from Monday, April 28 to May 21, the Saime mobile units begin an operation with more than one hundred officials, mobile units and trailers in the 23 parishes of Caracas with the purpose of issuing certificates to the people of Caracas, as reported on the Instagram account.

In the first phase, the beneficiary parishes will be January 23, Altagracia, Antímano, La Candelaria, Caricuao, Catedral, Coche and El Junquito.

In the second phase, the trailers will be located in the Coche, El Junquito, Sucre, La Candelaria, Maracarao, El Valle, Santa Rosalía and 23 de Enero parishes.

Venezuelans over 18 years of age can renew their identity card from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
