The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) reported that it will hold a special day without an appointment on Saturday, August 23, at its offices throughout the country for updating data and renewing ID cards.
From its Telegram channel, SAIME reported that the operation, which will take place from 8:00am to 2:00pm, will be aimed exclusively at Venezuelan and naturalized citizens, whose number of cards is between 22 and 32 million.
The only requirement that every citizen must submit is a simple copy of the birth certificate. The temporary measure makes it easier for users to process their identity documents.
