The Venezuelan Salomón Rondón scored his 9th goal in the Mexican tournament, in the victory of Pachuca 2-1 against Necaxa.

The Venezuelan played the entire game and in the 88th minute after a penalty charge he scored the second goal for his club, so much so that he secured the victory of Pachuca.

In 25 games, Rondón with Pachuca has 16 goals, plus 3 assists. He is currently the leading goal scorer in Liga MX and in CONCACAF.

With this victory, the Venezuelan club advances to the quarterfinals, where they will face America again.
