The Autonomous Intellectual Property Service (SAPI), in the Obispos municipality of the state of Barinas, carried out a technical visit to various production units, with the purpose of evaluating their practices and promoting the protection of cacao identity through Protected Geographical Indications (PGI).

The information was published on the official SAPI Telegram channel, where it was highlighted that “we celebrate the commitment of our cocoa producers and producers”.

They also thanked the dedication and rescue of ancient techniques, so that Venezuelan cacao “maintains its exceptional quality and its priceless historical heritage.”
