Saudi Arabia will host the Ukraine-US meeting on the conflict

Next week, Saudi Arabia will host next week a meeting between Ukraine and the United States (USA) in the city of Jeddah, in the west of the country, the kingdom's Foreign Ministry reported on the social network X.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, welcomes the holding of a planned meeting between the United States and Ukraine in Jeddah,” said Friday's statement.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that over the past three years the kingdom will host several meetings related to the conflict in Ukraine and “continues its efforts to achieve permanent peace to end the Ukrainian crisis.”

On February 18, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, a meeting of the official delegations of the Russian Federation and the United States took place to seek the normalization of bilateral relations, to conclude the first summit between the president, Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart, Donald Trump, and to facilitate possible negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, Sputnik said.
