The Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt), through the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) of the state of Barinas, installed a science classroom in the Miguel Antonio Morillo Educational Complex, located in the Arismendi municipality, to benefit more than 300 students in the region.
These spaces, according to a Mincyt press release, are equipped with state-of-the-art teaching tools, to allow young people to carry out experimental practices under the guidance of trained teachers.
It has laboratory kits from the Chemistry Caravan, developed by the National Center for Chemical Technology (CNTQ), which include microscopes, lighters, test tubes, portable digital scales, reagents, experiment guides, electronic magnifying glasses, and other essential supplies.
With this new infrastructure, it is expected to enhance students' interest and knowledge in science, promoting the development of scientific and technological skills from an early age.
The initiative responds to the first apex of the Great Science, Technology and Innovation Mission “Dr. Humberto Fernández - Morán”, which establishes the incorporation and permanence of children and young people on the path of knowledge, promoting love and interest in science.
