Sectorial Vice President Menéndez: A new method of government is being born in the national territory

The vice-president of Sectorial Planning, Ricardo Menéndez , pointed out that the installation of the Popular Self-Government Chambers is a leap towards full, direct democracy, since “a new method of government is being born in the national territory, a Its Popular and Communal System”.

“Here is the Food House, the justices of the peace, water tables, gas tables, telecommunications tables, peace modules. It's about making the leap to new forms of government, to full and direct democracy,” he said, during the installation of the Popular and Communal Government System, in Artigas, San Juan parish in the city of Caracas.

Menéndez stressed that the Venezuelan people, together with the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, are planners, are preparing the Nation 's Project, the Plan of the Seven Years and now it is the Plan of the Commune,” he said.

The sectoral vice-president explained that each of the communes will have the installation of the Popular Self-Government Rooms, of which the work teams linked to the productive economy, the city area , security, sovereignty, organization, and planning, to ecosocialism and science and technology.

“We have the popular projects and we have the direction. The problems are identified and we put together social and participatory cartography,” he added.
