The sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during a press conference, assured that the extreme right is trying to turn politics into a “real sewer”.

The statements of the Minister of the People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace respond to the numerous acts of terrorists orchestrated by the right, which the State Security Corps have succeeded in dismantling.

“They are trying to turn politics into a real sewer,” he said, while questioning the communication matrix of describing Juan Pablo Guanipa, who was recently arrested for his active participation in a terrorist organization, as “politically persecuted.

“Everyone is aware of the threats made by Juan Pablo Guanipa! You have to see what Juan Pablo Guanipa had written in his notebook,” he said.

He also pointed out that despite the fact that the opposition denounces, through NGOs, the violation of the human rights of detainees, the State guarantees that they are respected, and added that “we have to end the chicken bottle that I make complaints without any kind of support, they hide behind NGOs; we don't hide behind anyone, we take the lead with the Constitution and with the law in between”.
