Security contingent will guard the National Games of the East

Around 2,360 security officials will ensure the protection of athlete delegations, guests and spectators at the XXI National Orient 2024 Games to be held in the first week of November in Monagas.

Quoted by the newspaper Última Noticias, the Secretary of Prevention and Public Safety and director of Polimonagas, Eduardo Alberto Almérida Padrón, stressed that for the national games they will repeat the formula of the deployments made on the dates of the Vinotinto national team's match.

He took the opportunity to highlight the impeccable work carried out by the different security bodies , institutions for risk management and the preventive front, during the qualifiers of the World Cup 2026.

The East 2024 National Games will take place from November 8 to 24 and the Paranational Games from December 1 to 8
