Security forces arrested three individuals for drug trafficking

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) arrested a subject who carried credentials from the Criminal and Criminal Scientific Investigations Corps (CICPC) after inviting him 42 pots of cocaine weighing 42 kilos.

The incident occurred in the Alta Guajira sector, Guajira municipality (Sinamaica), Zulia state, where Jesús Tovar, from Colombia, was arrested.

In another effective procedure, the Citizen Service Point located in Vega de Aza, Torbes municipality, Táchira, captured Jesús Manuel Montaña Rodríguez, who was taken to the central hospital of San Cristóbal where he expelled 78 deciles of cocaine, which threw a weight of 610 grams.

And finally, in the municipality of García de Hevia (La Fría), Táchira, the uniformed officers seized nine cocaine pots weighing a total of 8 kilos 340 grams and arrested a subject.
