Security forces seized 222 kilos of marijuana in Falcón

Una joint commission of the Criminal Investigation Service of the Falcón State Police (SIPEF), and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), seized a total of 222 kilograms of drugs in the El Caño sector, Colina municipality,
De according to information issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), officials detected 11 bags buried in sand containing a total of 444 marijuana wrappers.
Asimismo, it was known that there were 327 panelas with badges alluding to the flag of Ecuador, while the other 117 wrappers were cylinder-type, brown and yellow with an emblem alluding to a tiger.
“This operation represents a significant blow against criminal groups in the region and reaffirms the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the fight against this global problem; part of the public policies implemented in Venezuela, as indicated by the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace, captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón,” reported the MPPRIJP.
