The National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) closed the month of October with a collection of 32 billion 200 million 225 thousand 241 bolivars.
The
information was released by the National Customs
and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello Rondón, through SENIAT's social networks.
Income Tax (ISLR) earned
9 billion 332 million 470 thousand 447 bolivars, while the
amount collected from Value Added Tax (VAT) is 11
billion 707 million 902 thousand 208 bolivars.
In
terms of customs, 7 billion 349 million 592 thousand
769 bolivars were reached and what was obtained in other Internal Revenues is 3
billion 810 million 259 thousand 816 bolivars.
Internal
income includes tax revenues for cigarettes,
liquor, inheritances, fines, interest and other items.
It
should be noted that from January to October 2024, SENIAT raised a total
of 389 billion 713 million 685 thousand 741 bolivars,
while in the same period of 2023, a total of 127 billion 78 million 207 thousand 343 bolivars were obtained.
Superintendent Cabello Rondón stated that these figures reflect the commitment of the Venezuelan people to tax culture, in addition to expressing the clear intention of the Bolivarian Government to continue collecting resources for the social welfare of the people.
