Slovakia and Hungary announced the suspension of diesel supply to Ukraine, alleging that shipments depend on the normalization of the flow of crude oil through the Druzhba pipeline, which brings oil from Russia, affected since January by political decisions in Kiev and attacks on its infrastructure.
The Slovak refinery Slovnaft confirmed that all petroleum products processed at the plant will be destined exclusively for the domestic market, while Budapest took an equivalent measure to ensure its energy security.
