South Korean social movements organized a mobilization to demand the release of President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, who were kidnapped by U.S. forces on January 3, after a military attack.

‎Los demonstrators gathered in front of the U.S. Embassy and used banners with the slogan “Free Maduro” and chanted phrases such as “They will not pass”.

‎Asimismo, they demanded respect for Venezuela and with slogans they assured the Caribbean nation “is not a threat, it is a hope”.

‎ “They also denounced what they describe as a kidnapping that threatens the sovereign will of Venezuela; combined with a new voice of global pressure from the Asian continent out of respect for the integrity of the Venezuelan president,” reported the newspaper Última Noticias.
