Starting this Sunday, the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura Highway will be partially closed for four weeks

The Ministry of People's Power for Transportation reported that starting this Sunday, February 23, the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura Highway will be partially closed due to rehabilitation work and urged drivers to take preventive measures.

Through its account on the social network Instagram, the ministerial body announced the partial closure of two east-west traffic channels from the Rosal module, due to the maintenance of the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura Highway bridge.

The closure will last four weeks from 9:00pm to 4:30am, “for the purpose of carrying out comprehensive maintenance of this road”.

“We invite drivers to take preventive measures for the tasks carried out by our working class in coordination with the Plan Together Everything Is Possible, to guarantee their well-being and safety,” the notice states.

The Ministry also reported the total closure of access to the tunnel axis in the direction of El Cementerio-El Paraíso in the El Paraíso tunnel.

This closure will start this Sunday, February 23 and will run from 9:00pm to 4:30am for comprehensive road maintenance.
