Strategist Néstor Salazar breaks record in Venezuelan basketball

Venezuelan coach Néstor Salazar reached 1,400 games in the country . His career positions him as the strategist with the most games played in Venezuelan professional basketball.

Strategist Salazar also holds the record for the most victories in the history of national basketball, with a total of 837 wins.

The coach, born in the state of Sucre, has won six national titles, four with Crocodiles from Caracas and two with Trotamundos de Carabobo, the team he currently manages. His last achievement came in 2022, when he demonstrated his validity and leadership in the competition, reported the sports daily Lider.
