The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that hardworking, loyal people, committed to their communities, who are not afraid of work, are found on the street.
During the closing ceremony of the campaign in Cumaná, Sucre state, Cabello Rondón asked Jhoanna Carrillo, a candidate for governor, to continue walking with the people. “I have no doubt that not only will she be the first governor of the state of Sucre, but she will be the best governor in its entire history,” he added.
Cabello recalled that Carrillo comes from working in communities, from a home of fighters and from always listening to the people.
“We, as revolutionaries, are obliged to always listen to our People, to tell us what they want to do, whoever does not want to listen to the People does not get involved in politics,” he said.
He also maintained that this people never wrinkle, are courageous, loyal and have decided to be patriots until death and until life.
Cabello said that Commander Hugo Chávez lived for a time in Sucre, while pursuing his military career. “Here Chávez reflected on what to do with his life, he was torn between going to the guerrillas or asking for the death, thankfully that with all his intelligence and wisdom he decided to follow the Armed Forces, but without losing his conviction and his ideals of a free homeland,” he added.
