The National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello, spearheaded the Thirty-Sixth Act of Social Justice, in which 1,676 contract workers from all over the country become customs and tax servants of the tax collection body .

In this regard, according to press information from SENIAT, during the event, Cabello recognized the hard work that customs and tax officials carry out with responsibility, perseverance and enthusiasm.

In addition, he called on workers to continue training. “We have to keep preparing (...) I think we need to promote preparation modules in the customs and tax area (...) to polish those workers who have years of experience.”

For this reason, he instructed the Center for Fiscal Studies (CEF) to coordinate technical training programs for civil servants.

He reaffirmed the importance of everyone joining the country's transformation process, contemplated in the 7T Homeland Plan promoted by President Nicolás Maduro; for this reason, he invited to change the concept of the worker who is always behind a desk to a server who goes out to the street to serve the Fatherland.

“Let's go out and do what we do best and what we excel at best, which is serving people,” he urged and called on managers and heads of office to discuss with their staff the application of the 7T in the workplace, social and family, in order to understand the approaches of President Maduro.

With these actions, SENIAT complies with the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro to protect the rights of workers, guarantee fair working conditions and promote the integral development of the person.
