This Sunday, August 18, the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) concluded the examination of the minutes recorded by the National Electoral Council on August 8th

As it became known, once the process of transcribing the sample representative of the counting records recorded by the CNE has been completed, the physical records received and those transmitted by the CNE validation room will be validated. They will then be received by the authorities of the Supreme Court and guided to the data center where all the technological infrastructure of the number 1 totalization center of the CNE is located; in that space the CNE servers operate and what is called the “Electoral Bubble”, which is the restricted security area that protects the technological infrastructure of the number one totalization area of the CNE

In another area called “Totalization Center Management”, experts, and observers will be responsible for verifying that the written records match the digital ones and verifying that the results are correct. In that area, all the records transmitted by the validation machines are received every time they go through all the security protocols.

This procedure was observed in real time by witnesses from the different organizations for political purposes on July 28 and with the verification of today, Sunday, August 18, the Electoral Office of the Supreme Court closes the cycle to confirm that the minutes that were transcribed in phase number 1 of the technical expertise match those received from the databases of the national totalization centers of the CNE. This will guarantee the integrity of the data by showing 100% data consistency. The expert report will allow the electoral chamber to issue a verdict on the contentious appeal requested by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
