Supreme Court set up situation room to follow up on this Sunday's elections

The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) installed a Situational Chamber at its headquarters, located in Caracas, to monitor the development of the electoral process scheduled for this Sunday, May 25, to elect new governors, deputies and Legislative Councils throughout the Venezuelan territory.
From this space, where public servants of the Judiciary will remain deployed, the reception and channeling of information in real time about the development of electoral day will be coordinated, as part of the commitment of the highest judicial body to Venezuelan democracy.
According to a press release from the country's highest court, the activation of the Situational Chamber was led by the president of the highest court, Caryslia Rodríguez, accompanied by the first vice-president of the Supreme Court and president of the Social Cassation Chamber, Edgar Gavidia, and the second vice-president of the Supreme Court and president of the Constitutional Chamber, Tania D'Amelio.
The commitment of the Judiciary to the defense of constitutional order, legality and the defense of due electoral process remains firm, as it promotes its work with dedication and responsibility to ensure stability and justice throughout the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
