Swimming and athletics parathletes received equipment in Carabobo

The Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to supporting adapted sports in all disciplines and modalities

Swimming and athletics parathletes concentrated in the state of Carabobo received the generic clothing of the national team to represent the country in international competitions.

The award was given by the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardillo, who was accompanied by the president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee (COV), María Soto; the president of COPAVEN, Juan Rujano; the vice-minister of sports mass, Juan Amarante and the president of Fundadeporte, Eduardo Bozo.

During the event, Cardillo reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to support adapted sports in all disciplines and modalities, the Ministry of Sports press reports.

“We are committed to the development of Paralympic sports in Venezuela, and this endowment is an important step in supporting our parathletes,” said Cardillo.

Each kit consists of a backpack, four shorts, two pairs of socks, two jacket and jumpsuit uniforms, one dress and a second set for warming up, two flannels, four flannels, two shirts, a mesh and a pair of sports shoes.
