Táchira Civil Protection continues to be deployed in the face of rain risks in the Torbes sector

Due to the constant rainfall in the metropolitan area of the state of Táchira, Civil Protection care teams were deployed to specific points to address the incidents recorded on Marginal del Torbes Avenue, located in the municipality of San Cristóbal.

Among the tasks carried out, the cleaning and clearing of the avenue's sewage system stands out, whose obstruction temporarily affected passability in both directions of the road.

Faced with this weather situation, Táchira Civil Protection recommended that drivers slow down on the state's main roads to avoid unforeseen events.

The agency recalled that rains significantly decrease visibility and increase the risk of vehicles slipping, due to the loss of tire adhesion on wet asphalt.
