Tachirense Family Foundation performed 211 waterfall operations during carnival

During the carnival holiday, the Tachirense Family Foundation performed 211 cataract operations, at the headquarters of the Military Hospital and the Central Hospital of San Cristóbal, through the Miracle Mission.

Through a press release, it became known that in addition to this action, 120 patients who underwent surgery last year completed their laser capsulotomy treatment.

“Here we are working, assisting ophthalmology patients, who underwent cataract surgery, by the Miracle Mission, and thanks to the policies of our President Nicolás Maduro, we serve a population of people who underwent surgery last year, who are now being treated with lasers, a procedure that was completely free and supported by a group of medical specialists in the area,” said Karem Duran, president of the foundation.

In addition, 12 women were operated on for the specialization of Oncological Gynecology at the Oncological Hospital, through the “Health and Wellness” Surgical Days, programmed and planned by this body.
