Talks between Iran and the United States begin in Geneva

This Thursday, media from the Islamic Republic of Iran, report that talks with the United States (USA) have already begun at the Oman embassy in Geneva, are scheduled to resume this afternoon or evening after the break.

“Today we have been exchanging creative and constructive ideas in Geneva, and now both American and Iranian negotiators have retired to take a break,” Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, said in his X account.

After Iran and the United States resumed talks, he expressed hope for “achieving greater progress” between Tehran and Washington.

The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baqai, stated that Tehran was ready “to continue these talks for as long as necessary,” he said.
