The deputy
to the National Assembly (AN), Tania Díaz, highlighted the great popular victory of May 25 in
the electoral process in which Venezuela demonstrated to the world
that it wants peace and participatory democracy.
“Venezuela
made it clear to the world that it is what the Venezuelan People want, the People
want participatory, leading, broad, popular, inclusive democracy, they
want peace and they want to work as we are all doing,” he said
during his program Sin Truco Ni Maña.
In that
regard, he extended his congratulations to the People of Venezuela for going out last
Sunday to exercise their right to vote. In addition, he recognized the
revolutionary forces for increasing the number of votes.
At the same time, he emphasized that today Venezuelans should be proud to have lived in these times, that despite attacks to destroy democratic institutions, the People go out to exercise their vote without incident.
