The 24 countries that will compete in the Women's Under-17 Volleyball World Cup have been defined

This Thursday, the list of the 23 countries that, together with the Venezuelan national team, will participate in the U17 Women's Volleyball World Cup, which will be held in Santiago de Chile from August 6 to 16, 2026, was announced.
This event marks Venezuela's debut in a world cup event in this category and according to the organizational schedule, the official draw will be held on March 18, in which the group of each team will be announced. For this competition, the Venezuelan representation began a regime with a double training session led by the coaching staff led by the Cuban Ihosvanny Chambers.
Argentina, Brazil, Peru and the Venezuelan national team will be present for the South American Volleyball Confederation, in addition to Chile as host. For its part, the North America, Central America and the Caribbean region will have the presence of the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
The rest of the places have been allocated to the federations of Europe, Asia and Africa after the completion of their respective qualifying tournaments. The Venezuelan participation comes after the results obtained in the South American Championship of the specialty, where the team managed to secure one of the tickets available for the region.
