The battle continues! Cabello: In 500 programs we have fought for the truth

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, celebrated the 500th edition of his Con El Mazo Dando program where he confirmed that in all these years of work “we have fought to defend the truth of our Homeland”.

“We have fought in these 500 programs to tell the truth, we have helped to put everything in its place and above all we have helped to make that opposition fight more and more every day,” he said from the Mountain Barracks .

In that sense, he took the opportunity to recall how the media exercised hegemony and blackmailed politicians. “Nothing was moving that television channels or newspaper owners did not authorize (...) Here the television channels censored a President of the Republic and he never came out again, Luis Herrera,” he said.

“The media here were very powerful, and that's what we faced in 2002, when on April 11 they broke the television screen and they, the owners of the media, actively directed the coup d'etat. The owners of the media called themselves , in the Fourth Republic, the fourth power and exercised it. Then things started to change,” he said, stating that those channels were unable to say anything about last names.

He pointed out that, in that field, it is where “we are fighting the battle now. That's why 10 years ago when the President (Nicolás Maduro) told me, I was lost, but fly (...) trying to communicate what he said, how he did it and everything he drove that we should defend the truth,” he said.

He assured that in these 500 programs there has only been a single right of reply on the part of the opposition and that was when the right-wing Tamara Sujú came out saying that the murderer was not her father but her uncle.

He reaffirmed that it was with the Revolution that the true face of that extreme right was shown. “The myth that they don't mess with them began to be dismantled because with those in high society, high society sucks, okay! They have done a lot of damage to this country, so against the truth there is nothing that can.”

For this reason, he extended his thanks to the team responsible for developing the information window on the Bolivarian Revolution. “This program is thanks to the group of colleagues who make it come out weekly (...) Thank you for continuing to defend the truth of Venezuela. The battle continues!” , he emphasized.

The Commander 's Legacy Lives in the Heart of the Revolutionary People

The revolutionary leader reaffirmed that today more than ever the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez lives in the hearts of the men and women of the People of Venezuela, referring to the capacity of the Leader of the Revolution to communicate.

“Their strength lives in the hearts of revolutionaries,” she said, recalling the capacity and communication power that the Commander had to connect and reach the People.

He stressed that actually filling the vacuum left by the Leader of the Revolution is impossible, but every day we revolutionaries must remain united working every day “a little” like Chávez to be able to overcome it.

In that way, he called for following the Commander's legacy and continuing to make the effort to communicate the truth of Venezuela. “This has to be done in states and municipalities, we have to talk to people and say things as they are,” he said.

Whoever conspires against the Revolution will find us head-on

The also sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace reaffirmed that this people are prepared to confront those who conspire against the Bolivarian Revolution .

“ Whoever wants to conspire against the Revolution will find us head-on, and I will be met head-on, whatever you call me,” he said and assured that at this point nothing scares the revolutionary forces.

He stated that “200 years ago we faced the Spanish empire and defeated them, today a little more than 200 years later we are facing, not the Spanish empire, but the most powerful empire of all time and we are defeating it; so we will write history”.

In addition, he reaffirmed that here on January 10, President Nicolás Maduro will be sworn in as commanded by the People . At the same time, he emphasized that it is high time for imperialism and its lackeys to understand that “we are free and sovereign because we want to”.

“The Bolivarian Revolution will continue to defeat the fascist extreme right” with (Simon) Bolivar, with (Commander Hugo) Chávez, with Nicolás (Maduro) with the People,” he said.

Against terrorists, yes, I go with everything

The Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace stated that his fight is against terrorists who seek to destabilize the country, referring to the right-wing media campaign about the alleged fear he caused in a boy named Lenynson José during patrolling in Los Teques, Miranda state

“The children are not afraid of me, the ones who have to be afraid of me are you, terrorists, if you want you can be afraid of me, because against you if I go with everything, but with the children I hug, affection and love at any time, ” he said.

He also showed images of the attention that his team provided to the child with whom he spoke in the Mirandina entity, as part of the actions taken by the Revolutionary Government to support those who need it most.

He stressed that this is part of what he taught us and of the tasks that Commander Chávez entrusted to us; and that is why the Bolivarian Revolution “is obliged to go there, where the opposition will never arrive (...) in the face of these things we cannot close our eyes, let the opposition close them, the country knows that it cannot count on them, but they do have to count on us”.

“Let the opposition say whatever they want, they are there for that and to lie, we are here to live and fight with those who don't have it, the rest is a problem of the opposition and its hatred,” he said.

The origin of opposition parties is corruption, theft and vagrancy

Cabello asserted that the origin of the opposition parties to the “sons of daddy and mommy” is corruption, theft and vagrancy.

“ Where do they come from? What is the origin of Justice First? What is the origin of Popular Will? What is the origin of Vente Venezuela? It's corruption, vagrancy, theft, ” he said.

He also referred to the recent internal fights and conflicts that were recently announced in the First Justice cell. At the same time, he commented on the acts of corruption in the Maracaibo Mayor's Office, how they spent the stolen money to “pay for the pallets, the mobilizations, how the mayor directly delivered money.”

“ That's the truth, Justice First is a nest of corrupt people and everyone who looks like them, that's where Popular Will was born. They all come from there, they are daddy and mommy's children (...) Corrupt is what they are, everyone, and they plan to govern Venezuela. You are never going to govern this country again,” he said.
