The Bolivarian Government of Monagas state began work to restore the road tracks in Plaza Bolívar in Punta de Mata, capital of the Ezequiel Zamora municipality.

According to information published on the Government's Instagram account, the improvements to be made include: renovation of sidewalks affected by tree roots, restoration and beautification of the Statue of the Liberator, rehabilitation of green areas and improvement in environmental lighting.

“These works not only seek to embellish the square, but also to offer citizens a place for meeting, recreation and recreation that reflects the pride of our local identity and promotes a sense of belonging to our cultural heritage,” said Mayor Óscar Cedeño.
