The Bolivarian Government intervenes simultaneously with 1,500 schools

The Minister of Popular Power for Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reported this Monday, August 31, that the Bolivarian Government is carrying out the simultaneous intervention of 1,500 schools throughout the country, as part of the sector's care plan.

This was stated in his account on the social network Instagram, in which he explained that of the total referred to, 1,000 schools were affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

“Across the country, we are simultaneously intervening 1,500 schools: 1,000 impacted by the double earthquake and 500 that were already part of our comprehensive care plan,” he said.

Rodríguez added that, at the same time, “our state, municipal and school administrations are moving forward with a special rezoning plan,” in order to ensure that, in the face of the contingency, student enrollment is 100% guaranteed.

The minister attached a video of the inspection carried out at the Central American National Educational Unit, located in the parish of Macarao, one of the institutions that is being rehabilitated.
