The Minister for Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca, reported that Popular Power, universities and the Government have been carrying out planning work, so that the country is prepared to face the consequences of the climate crisis.
This was announced this Friday in an interview with VTV replicated by the newspaper Últimas Noticias, in which he explained that “the population, community circuits, environmental movements, professional and technical groups have been heard, and an alternative agenda has been built to prepare us to face the consequences of the climate crisis”.
In this regard, he said that technicians and specialists from the Vice Presidency for Planning and the Office of Science and Technology have been building an organizational proposal for infrastructure construction and adaptation plans to address the issue.
“We have been preparing and are about to present the proposal,” said Lorca, commenting that from now on it is necessary to begin to see how a new urban plan and a new road are being built.
