The Bolivarian Government recovered more than a thousand sports facilities in the country through the My Beautiful Court Plan

As part of the My Beautiful Court Plan executed by the National Government, the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the organized Popular Power, a total of 1,114 courts have been delivered, and another 66 courts are being recovered in the territory.

This was reported by Erasmo Ramos Iriza, national commander of the People's Guard, during the broadcast of the radio program “Culture and Peace”, hosted by the general director of Crime Prevention, Lusmialit Perdomo.

“The selection of the court has also been the work of the communities; they are the ones who really know the territories and those who have helped us, since they had not received maintenance for many years,” he said.

He explained that reconditioning the spaces allows the taking of community spaces, the guarantee of peace and the prevention of crime.

Ramos stressed that, after handing over the courts to the communities, the space is monitored and then, the organized Popular Power, through Sports Coordinators from the different communal circuits, is responsible for the operation.

He also said that the GNB is carrying out a “Zero Screen” program with a series of activities “to prevent crimes and cultivate peace and coexistence in our schools, communities, community circuits, and part of these activities includes the conditioning of courts.”

He also thanked the support received through the National Anti-Drug Fund (FONA) and the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello Rondón, who “has been an engine that has led us to success in this program through the delivery of materials and all the supplies and tools that are needed.”
