The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation successfully completed the rehabilitation work at the Longaray Distributor, located in the parish of El Valle, a road artery, which serves as a key access to Fuerte Tiuna, in Caracas.
The intervention focused on a comprehensive improvement of the infrastructure, ranging from the installation of more than 500 tons of asphalt to recover the asphalt binder in the area, to the demarcation of the area.
In the same way, the rehabilitation of the bridge's expansion joints (transverse and longitudinal) was carried out, as well as the removal of deteriorated paint, the reinforcement of the bases and the installation of a system of galvanized steel sheets as joint covers, according to the Ministry of Transport press.
In addition, the workforce of the Bolivarian Government carried out activities to fully recover the roads and sidewalks, in addition to painting the railings of the bridge.
In road matters, a complete and precise demarcation was implemented, including pedestrian crossings, turn arrows and continuous regulatory lines, vital elements for safe and orderly movement.
The rehabilitation of the Longaray Distributor is part of the plan to strengthen the capital's road arteries, as a sign of the commitment to the well-being of the population, providing quality infrastructure for more efficient and safe mobility, within the framework of the Comprehensive Road Care Plan 2025.
