The Intellectuals Network rejects the rude US threat of a total oil blockade against Venezuela

In a statement to public opinion, the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity rejected Donald Trump's rude threat of a total oil blockade against Venezuela.

“Threatening a total and complete blockade against all oil tankers entering or leaving Venezuela shows us that the world is faced with a logic of a criminal and unscrupulous state on the part of the Donald Trump administration,” the statement highlights.

He adds that “far from being able to reduce it to a simple delusion, it is clear that imperialism, in its thirst for resources, seeks to exercise power without limits or consideration for international law, diplomacy or the sovereignty of other peoples. This is an arbitrary imposition that no longer even attempts to disguise its piracy actions.”
