The Venezuelan Kevin Kelsy of the Portland Timbers scored a double against FC Cincinnati in the 27th round of Major League Soccer (MLS).
Kelsy started, his first goal came in the 37th minute after an engagement with a cross shot to the first post, thus managing to discount the first goal (1-2).
Later, in the 68th minute, the Venezuelan executed a perfect penalty to set up the match (2-3), reaching 9 goals in the season (7 in the MLS, 1 in the US Open Cup and 1 in the Leagues Cup).
However, despite their efforts, the Venezuelan club failed to overcome the game and yielded 3-2.
The Creole club is in sixth place in the Eastern Conference with 37 units.
