In order to combat the increase in viral challenges, in the state of Monagas, the “More Training, Greater Protection” Plan was activated in different educational institutions of the entity, to raise awareness about the correct use of digital platforms.
The information was provided in statements to Venezolana de Televisión, the president of the Simón Children's Regional Foundation, Sorenelly Zambrano de Luna, accompanied by public officials who make up the General Staff for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in Situations of Vulnerability in the entity.
He pointed out that the training and support activity is aimed at teaching staff and students, and corresponds to a first phase of action, stressing as a premise that “respect has no gender, it is a right for everyone”.
In this regard, he noted that “the initiative comes after President Nicolás Maduro's call to take a step forward, accompanying our children and adolescents with issues related to the protection of life, acquiring the greatest amount of valuable information to defend this right, in the face of challenges on social networks.”
Zambrano explained that the activity took place in the “Francisco Isnardi” Educational Complex and simultaneously in 10 educational institutions in the municipalities of Ezequiel Zamora, Uracoa, Cedeño and Sotillo.
He indicated that these actions seek to raise awareness and generate a kind of “sponsorship” so that the bodies involved can unify, determine and detect any irregular situation in schools.
