The Ministry of Science and Technology (Mincyt), through its affiliated entities, brought joy and scientific activities to the children and young people of the temporary camp of the U. E. Luis Hurtado, in El Junquito.

From training in programming robot prototypes to traditional arts and games, representatives of scientific institutions showed the magic of technology and innovation in an entertaining and fun way to the little ones in the camp.

Irmaru Torres, researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies Foundation (IDEA), pointed out that “this time we bring to boys and girls what the magic of science is through educational games, memory games where we show in vitro cultivation techniques; the importance of this tool too, fungi and bacteria so that they can enter what is the world of science and thus be able to contribute to their scientific development”.

The day, according to a press release, allowed participants to learn about programming techniques, interactive games, painting and the importance of cultivating teamwork.
