The Minister of Social Labor Process, Eduardo Piñate, at the Yagua Fuel Distribution Plant, Carabobo state, stated that the Venezuelan oil working class is taking the lead in the construction of Bolivarian socialism.

“This floodgate was where our Supreme and Eternal Commander, Hugo Chávez, announced the definitive defeat of the coup d'etat, where our people, our mobilized working class, together with the civic-military union, defeated them,” stressed in a VTV report.

He recalled that meritocracy had placed the oil industry at the service of transnational corporations, at the service of imperialism, at the service of the transnational financial oligarchy. Of course, it was a fundamental factor for every attack that took place all those years against Petroleos de Venezuela and against the Government of Commander Hugo Chávez and the revolution. “That total war that they are waging against our people has been met with the indestructible wall of the will of the Venezuelan oil working class struggle.”

The minister called on workers to fight to confront the enemies of the homeland, of development and of the recovery of social welfare, created by our commander and continued by our president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

“We are going to unite around the leadership of the President of the Republic to continue lifting the homeland and moving forward, building the diversified productive economic model, the material basis of Bolivarian socialism for having a homeland in the next 30, 40 and 50 years,” he emphasized.
