This Saturday, the social network X announced the closure of its operations in Brazil due to the decisions of that country's Supreme Court judge, Alexandre de Moraes, who indicated that he will fine and imprison the head of X's office in the South American country, Rachel de Oliveira Villa Nova Conceição, for non-compliance with judicial decisions.

In a statement issued, the digital platform, owned by Elon Musk, assured that the service will continue to be available to users in Brazil.

According to what was published by the Xinhua portal, Alexandre de Moraes recently handed down sentences to order the social network to block profiles that published anti-democratic or hate messages against the authorities. The company, however, failed to comply with these orders.
