The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, described as an act of wisdom and the defense of peace the ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) to ratify the results issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE) on the results of the elections of July 28.
“Today the Supreme Court threw her ovaries out, because the authorities of the Supreme Court are women. Here, women play an outstanding role in maintaining the sovereignty and peace of the Republic,” Rodríguez said during the regular session of the AN this Thursday.
He criticized those experts in the field who have omitted irresponsible opinions against the electoral expertise carried out by the Supreme Court, as expressed in article 297 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
“I'm not a lawyer but I can read, on the other hand, there are a number of lawyers with postgraduate degrees at Harvard who can't read, we should explain 297 to them with dolls, birds and dolls because they don't know,” he emphasized.
He called on the extreme right, that if they want to enter the democratic game they must attack the ruling of the Supreme Court “and whoever does not comply is out of the democratic game, whoever does not comply with this sentence goes into contempt,” he stressed.
He urged the AN to create a new Political Parties Act because it is not possible to legislate with a law with characteristics of the Fourth Republic.
“A law on Political Parties that clearly prohibits a person from calling for coups d'etat and invasions. A fascist cannot be a candidate for a popular election (...) if they want to go to the mountains as such a far-right guerrilla front, as such a paramilitary front, and we will resort to State mechanisms to sweep them away,” he stressed.
