This Monday, the Vatican reported that Pope Francis' health remains stable while he is still undergoing treatment with high-flow oxygen therapy.
According to the statement, the pontiff had adequate rest during the night and had no complications associated with the isolated episode of bronchospasm that occurred on February 28. However, doctors warn that the risk of seriousness persists.
In addition, the Holy See announced that in the next few hours a new medical report will be issued on his state of health.
Pope Francis, 88, has been hospitalized at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome since February 14, 2025 after developing bronchitis that led to bilateral pneumonia.
