The Venezuelan national sword team present at the Budapest Grand Prix

The Venezuelan national sword team will be present at the Budapest Grand Prix, which will be held from March 13 to 15 in the capital of Hungary, in search of points for the world ranking of the International Fencing Federation.
The delegation is made up of Rubén Limardo, Jesús Limardo, Francisco Limardo, Miguel Figueroa, Eliana Lugo, Lizze Asis, Clarismar Farías and Victoria Guerrero, who will seek to score points in the individual ranking of the FIE and consolidate their competitive level on the international circuit.
The team has the technical direction of coaches Óscar Rodríguez and Stephane Le Roy, who will accompany the athletes in this important commitment to the world fencing calendar, MinDeporte reports.
The competition program begins this Friday, March 13 with the women's preliminary phase, will continue on March 14 with the men's preliminary classification and will culminate on March 15 with the finals in both branches.
This competition will also serve as preparation for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo 2026, where Venezuela aspires to maintain its historic leadership in the discipline.
