This Tuesday, February 18, the film about the life and work of Venezuelan scientist Dr. Humberto Fernández Morán was released.
With the participation of the Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology and Health, Gabriela
Jiménez praised the life and work of the scientist.
“102 years ago today, our Homeland gave birth to a great man, the most outstanding scientist of the 20th century. A patriot, a nationalist, Bolivarian, loving ethicist who in his last days wrote a letter to Commander Hugo Chávez asking to return to his land and who accompanied the Bolivarian revolution in all its senses,” he said.
Minister Jiménez added that in her letter Dr. Fernández Morán stated that “his last votes are for Venezuelan youth to meet science”,
Humberto Fernández Morán made a fundamental contribution to the advancement and improvement of electron microscopy, thanks to his knowledge of medicine and biology, which allowed him to develop the mechanical work capacity, precision and reliability of ultra microtomes, modern in his time.The direction is led by Will Romero, a young Venezuelan and has the investigative support of Dr. Gloria Carvalho and Conscience TV.
