This Monday begins the Battle of Carabobo Cup in Creole boxing

Starting this Monday, June 30, the Battle of Carabobo Boxing Cup begins, which for seven days will take place at the Indoor Handball Gym in the city of San Cristóbal.

In a statement, the Venezuelan Boxing Federation, led by former boxer Edgar “Apolón” Muñoz, made official the fist fight that will feature representatives of the national team, including the Paris 2024 Olympic fighters Omailyn Alcalá and Jesús Cova.

Also present will be the boxers of the Venezuelan national team Tayonis Cedeño, Irismar Cardozo, Krisandris Ríos, Edison Mayora, Diego Pereira, and others.

This Venezuelan match, which begins on June 29 and will come down the following July 6, will be held in preparation for the Venezuelan team that will see action in the Copa América boxing to be played in Ibagué, Colombia, from July 10 to 20, the Ministry of Popular Power for Sports reported in a press release.
